Standing behind eccentric? That's rich, this is the internet, and even if it wasn't i don't see you being he type of person I'd be intimidated by at all. I'm not standing behind eccentric for acknowledging that he pretty much summed you up. I don't give a fuck if you've never gotten along with Enrique, you're only getting behind him now because it's convenient for you. Stop going on about clique's, your stating your admiration for an adult troll, Enrique's not trying to avoid any imaginary clique, he's just trying to get on people's nerves and kill time, he's admitted as much. I hate every new title being thrown out there for the sequel. Just truly awful. Starting to get a bad feeling about it all. I'll remain this way until I'm proven wrong. I don't know why they don't just go with: "Superman vs. Batman". That's the draw in a nutsheck at this point. Feels like they need to be pretentious with a fancy-sounding title. Maybe they feel that "Superman vs. Batman" as a title would alienate those who aren't into comic book movies and they need to disguise it with a title without superhero character names in it? (If so, that's pretty silly)  If so, maybe the title should be: "Man of Steel vs. The Dark Knight"... if they're REALLY trying to avoid putting superhero names in the title. |

Ugh. Close to what Kevin said. I don't like ANY of those. You can smell generic committee thinking on most of them. Shocking there's not a Rise of the Knight in there. Agreed. Knight Fall would be the least dumb but even then, it's awful. It works as the name of an episode in the animated series, but as the name of the movie where they meet? No. Lame. I don't want any kind of "dark" or "black" in a Man of Steel title. I guess that doesn't matter, though.

I truly can't think of anything that works with Man of Steel. Are they stuck to that? I mean, Batman Begins, Dark Knight, Dark Knight Rises...they don't need to stay with Man of Steel. Wonderful one time title, but to use anything else with it just kinda sucks.

I don't know a thing about you, dude, other than your love for things nerdy that we also love. You have a tendency to have a short fuse when someone holds a different opinion and challenges you. You just call things stupid and seem to have a bit of a superiority complex that slips out sometimes when you're arguing on here. Really, as long as one avoids MoS talk (and as long as the ones involved in the pissing matches keep it off non-MoS discussions), the board is still a nice place to visit and talk about stuff. Maybe it's time for a moratorium of MoS talk. Shut it down until filming starts or something, let people cool off. It's sad that some of us are feeling that way, but if left unchecked -- and I mean letting people carry their pissing matches to other parts of the board -- it's going to ruin this place. |

Man of Steel: Darkest Knight would be an option if they were really desperate to get some more good will from the Nolan films but that seems so cheap. All I can think of is MOS: Shadow of the Bat but even that is iffy. It's just a big mouthful of a title. I'd keep it simple. |

I'm not a fan if any of those. But my choice would be Man of Steel: Dark Knight over Metropolis. They should just stick to Superman vs. Batman.
Bruce Timm running the DC Movieverse would be the greatest thing that WB could ever do

If they want to distance this new Batman from Nolan's Batman, why the fuck would WB use any variation of Dark Knight? Where's the logic in that?
And enough of this "Darkness" bullshit. Yes, I know it's part of the nickname. But why is everything dark? Just because something is serious doesn't mean it's dark. What the heck was "Star Trek Into Darkness" about? I never got the connection. Just a stupid title with "darkness." You know what I think of when I hear "darkness?"
