FACT: SR and MOS are just movies... and that's it. OPINION: Worth arguing over and belittling one another's opinions? Each person decides for themselves....  MY OPINION: I learned how everyone feels about the film already. I shared mine. I don't care anymore if anyone believes it or not. It's just too exciting for me around here. Need to retire to the old folks home and take a nap. Have fun, folks.... It's hard to put it to you without sounding disrespectful so sorry. Should have maybe just kept it to myself. Well, Kris is saying that he doesn't believe CAM and gives his reasons politely barring the term 'bullshit' which most people don't find offensive. You are repeating Kris' phrase purely to piss him off. There are differences. And Metallo is again insinuating that Kris is gay to insult him. Kris isn't innocent but he normally comes at things from a positive angle. He doesn't try to belittle every single comment. Not to piss him off, just to prove a point. |

That's like asking how do you know it's better to get run over by a bicycle than a truck. Some might think one is better than the other, but really one is pretty more evidently better than the other, to most people anyway.

Not really. I figured it would or at least come close. It's IMDB. Not exactly the most objective place to rank these kinds of things. Have you read the boards there? People vote things for the most childish spiteful reasons not to mention the voting can be lopsided. When it comes to the film ratings fans can load the polls with votes whereas non fans might not vote at all.

I think we can all agree that we are happy with Superman's success.
The big quarrel is on the approach.
Despite our differences about the approach, ultimately there's no quarrel about the goal: the continued existence of Superman.
And MOS ensures that survival for the time being.

That's priceless, this from a guy who was foaming at the mouth right from the start of the MOS project because a director he has an unhealthy resentment towards, got the gig, from the guy who races in with a counterargument anytime anyone says anything remotely positive about the film. Apparently he and Enrique are joined at the hip now, pair of throbbers. |

Well you seem pretty hung up on the fact SR didn't get a sequel, and I think there are hints in a few of your posts at having a little resentment towards the new project that got its place. Obviously when you criticize the acting in MOS and love SR which is quite poorly acted in places as you, yourself have admitted, it does make you wonder how much you really wanted the other film to do well. Maybe out of line saying that, but that's what I think. Don't get me wrong dude, it's not like you have a seething hatred of it, or Snyder like tallo and its leading you to bitch and moan about everything and anything obsessively. But just subtle hints I got from a few posts. Wow. See I notice CAM has been extremely diplomatic in conveying his views. Perhaps the reason you noticed "hints" is because he wanted to convey his views without outright offending you (you are taking this all very seriously after all). There's no "maybe out of line" here. You called him a liar for politely conveying his views at a place that we all come to for the love of the character, not to be offended by members. Yes, some want to get in the ring. Some just want to talk about Superman. You owe him an apology Kris. |

Good job! Like the credibility you damaged by posting all those anti-prequel posts years ago? Like Jimbo said, we've *ALL* acted out for one reason or another over the years. I'm ok with what I did. As well as the consequences. After all, I've always been a pretty good sport when people here have made fun of me over the years because I mostly always took it in fun, though there were times that it has gotten serious. Can't say the same for everyone else, especially you and Kevin who got personal with me and didn't even so much as PM to talk about your problems with what I was doing. Instead, you all probably started acting liking young girls, PMing privately and whispering into each other's ears and shit. Fucking cowards. The only thing that I did wrong was that I wasn't more transparent with the intent behind it until well after I started, because I just thought most people would "get it". |
