That always reminded me of some of Clark's humor on The Adventures of Superman.

Wow!! That is a great animation. I would love to see a ''new'' Reeve animated Superman feature like that.

What a pussy. Superman would never cry about that shit. Whoever wrote that is an asshole.

I don't have an issue with Superman having 'survivor's guilt'.... as it could be plausible- but the timing seems a bit odd, and breaking down in front of Lois also seems a bit strange (again, with the caveat that I haven't read the whole story and I might not be being fair, either).
#1: If he was so tormented by this, I'd think that it be more plausible that he dealt/ deals with this around the time that he first discovers it. Being affected by this news and awareness so long after the fact feels weird. If this page happened and dialogue happened as a teenager (when, presumably he learns his heritage), it might have been more palatable.
#2: Hard to see Superman breaking down in front of Lois. With Lois having been brought up by a harsh militaristic father- hard to picture any weakness being consoled by Lois, if she's been brought up to 'stick it out' during any emotional weakness. (Hard to picture Lois being anything but militaristic towards her own kids, too)
I thought it an interesting scene- but - unless there's more to the rest of the story--- it feels wrongly executed for those reasons. This might be a conversation Supes has with Pa Kent as a younger person, but feels weird for Supes to share this with Lois, and for him to break down so long after knowing what he knows about being the last survivor.

I always liked this song. Good cover, maybe even better than the original. It was posted 2 months ago and already has over 2 million views.

Uh? I didn't know Supes and Diana had a fling in that book. I don't remember seeing it in the movie at all.

ok, normally i'm not thrilled with home-made montages of clips set to a popular tune, but this past week i have been trying to find a good clip of 3 DOORS DOWN.
i was never a big fan, nor did i ever dislike 3 doors down, but i liked a lot of their songs. we saw them last saturday night and they were fantastic! seriously, they perform very well. (they opened for sammy hagar, who was dynamite, and mopped the floor with the rest of the acts, but 3 doors down was great)

^^Cool vid Saw this link along with this comment for those interested like myself: superman.nu/theages/tales.php"Here is the best selection of Superman comics online. Of particular note is the Luthor-Brainiac team-up, the original Nightwing and Flamebird story, the Death of Superman, Who Took the Super out of Superman, the Sandman Saga, The Last Days of Superman, The Sword of Superman, and Elliot Maggin's two novels, Last Son of Krypton and Miracle Monday. Post-1986, the most important Superman reading is Birthright, Kingdom Come and All-Star Superman. Red Son and Secret Identity are good to for Elseworlds tales, as is Last Family of Krypton."

This actually makes a lot of sense..
Superman was Born Superman
Now, a staple of the superhero mythology is, there’s the superhero and there’s the alter ego. Batman is actually Bruce Wayne, Spider-Man is actually Peter Parker. When that character wakes up in the morning, he’s Peter Parker. He has to put on a costume to become Spider-Man. And it is in that characteristic Superman stands alone. Superman didn’t become Superman. Superman was born Superman. When Superman wakes up in the morning, he’s Superman. His alter ego is Clark Kent. His outfit with the big red “S”, that’s the blanket he was wrapped in as a baby when the Kents found him. Those are his clothes. What Kent wears - the glasses, the business suit - that’s the costume. That’s the costume Superman wears to blend in with us. Clark Kent is how Superman views us. And what are the characteristics of Clark Kent. He’s weak… he’s unsure of himself… he’s a coward. Clark Kent is Superman’s critique on the whole human race.

Superman... and Jason? The comics sure did mention or alluded to a son of Superman a lot.

I like this version of the suit, though somehow it doesn't feel modern or really iconic/classic, but it's still much better than the MOS suit, imo,
