Eh, I read statements like that all the time on lots of Superman forums.. It's just a matter of opinions I guess.

I just feel like that suit represent the character and his values better (more decent, wholesome, stuff like that).

Superman is the "Man of Steel". Not the "Big Blue Cheese". Which is the vibe I get from that pic. Plus I don't know what it is, but a Superman in a costume like that comes across to me as a douche. Not sure why. Maybe because it resembles that captain from Futurama, the one always hitting on Leela.

While I dont think the costume is that bad but looks to me like a Rocketeer/Superman crossover costume. Replace the cape with a rocket.

I don't really get a Superman vibe from it though.
