I feel a lot of love on the board right now.
...it's not meant to last...

Either way, it doesn't work. I didn't know enough about Jenny to care. I know that filmmakers don't have the balls to kill Jimmy.
In my Sperman film, Lois takes two shots to the back of the skull, execution style, in a mob hit. Her body is found in the gutter. This is the first fucking reel. No one is safe in my movie.

The fruit and vegetable seller in STM / S2 was better developed than most of the secondary characters in MoS including Jenny.

The fruit and vegetable seller in STM / S2 was better developed than most of the secondary characters in MoS including Jenny. EXT. DAY A close up of the unattended fruit vendor in front of the DAILY PLANET. The camera slowly pans left and zooms in on the corner of the building, as we hear whimpers coming from the alley. We see JIMMY OLSEN face down on the pavement, crawling toward the street, his lower body obscured by the building. His hair is disheveled, his eyes are red, and his face is tear-streaked. JIMMY continues crawling along the sidewalk, and we see that he is naked from the waist down, his trousers around his knees. VENDOR Hey! Where you goin'? A hairy, burley arm grabs JIMMY by the ankle and hauls him back behind the corner of the building. JIMMY cries and wails for SUPERMAN to save him as he whimpers, then screams in agony. The VENDOR grunts with labored breath. No one is safe in my movie. No one.

Like I said its not like MOS is the only film guilty of poorly developed characters. That seems to be the norm now. I remember when AVP came of and I didn't give a shit about 90 percent of them. At all. Couldn't even remember most of their names. Yet I think back to something like The Thing or Predator and minor characters made a better impression with one or two lines. They all got to make some kind of unique impact the first time I saw the films. When Hawkins disappeared it sucked because I got to LIKE Hawkins. He did something. He had a personality. We got to see his bonds with other characters.
The guy in Aliens who says "I guess she don't like the cornbread neither" made more of an impression than half the Prometheus cast combined. In some ways MOS does better than some of these flicks. I liked Hardy and Hamilton and Hardy was a new character too. Lombard could have been awesome with some work. That actor was one of the best things in the remake of Dawn of the Dead. Interesting actors are a huge factor in making these characters pop off the screen.

Bradley- I think we should collaborate.
------------------------------------
Aside, I think jenny is fine, she's a staffer and its about the kind of person PERRY is. He'd do that for a total stranger. In avenegers how much do we really get to know that waitress that cap saves? Of the shwarma chef? Maybe the shwarma isn't about the shwarma chef at all...maybe its about the team having a peacefull moment to relax together after all the mayhem. Maybe we don't need to give a flip about the waitress, its not like cap is going to marry her, its just him doing what he does. But perry rescues an intern? Oh fuck that.

There's virtually no depth or character development in the Avengers so whoever's using that as an example of what MOS needed to do, needs to stop now!

There's plenty of character depth and development on the Avengers considering its packed with so many major characters.
Stark, Cap, Banner, Widow and Fury all either grow as characters or have something revealed about themselves. Stark performs the first TRULY selfless act of his life in Avengers. When he was superheroing before it was still all about him to a degree. The only ones who really got short changed are Thor and Hawkeye and Thors mindset and personality has always been more simple. There's not a lot of underlying issues with him but that's part of his charm.

I'd say Thor got a bit overshadowed, but he had a great exchange with Loki on the mountain, revealing his willingness to forgive Loki and be a family again, ignore the fact that Loki isn't a blood brother but accept him anyway ... I'd call that character development beyond the boor he was in his solo flick. Barton got lost in the shuffle a bit and seemed to be a device for Romanov's character development. But saying "Avengers" had no character moments absolutely boggles my mind.

Every argument has its vulnerable point. Some--- like yours, Kris---have more than one.

Why do you say this when you know I will kill you for it?
