You post mountains of garbage about the film, Nobody's posted "garbage" about it. We have all got (legitimate) reasons for being disappointed with MoS. And I think these have been explained pretty well. When the movie opened on 14th June, there was a wave of negative reviews. At the time, I didn't want to believe the reviews, preferring to think that the reviewers were biased or had some "agenda". But with time, I have come to realise they were right sadly. |

 You've filled the board up with complete and utter shite. Pointless polls clearly designed to get a laugh and get on peoples tits, comparing every element of the film to STM. I don't really care if you 'sadly' think they were right, thankfully not everyone felt that way and it succeeded in getting a good box office and a sequel, I suspect much to yours and Enrique's disappointment, especially Enrique with Donald Duck not coming back as Batman again. If your's Enrique's and Tallo's goal was to repeat the same crap again and again, fill the board with polls which really weren't very funny to the point I can't be arsed to click onto the forum lately, then by all means, you did a great job  Carry on though, I won't be commenting much on it, just as I haven't lately. I've got things to be doing in the real world

Hard to believe all those critics were just hung up on Christopher Reeve. MOS just got a lot of bad reviews like a lot of comic book movies because it had some of the same problems. And worst of all it mostly just rehashed things other movies had already done better. What did it really have to offer the genre? These days dazzling effects are run of the mill for big summer films. A movie has to offer more than that.

Now now.... I only did a post on my feelings of how similar things were going in here with ultimate hype building prior to a Superman movie release followed by the inevitable bashing of said movie for one reason or another and then the comparisons to the earlier films....I remember seeing someone's top ten list of superhero movies on one of these forum posts and someone (forgot who off the top of the top of my head) had Superman III (yes....3) on their top ten lists and nothing about MoS. Now look, people are entitled to their opinion and I can live with that but I can't believe anyone in here would sit here and tell me a movie that barely showcased Superman, shows him as a belligerent drunk and committing acts that are criminal, showcases Richard Pryor acting like a fool, etc etc is better in ANY way to MoS. There are only five reasons I can see that it can be better, Reeve, Annette O'Toole and Pamela Stephenson ....I'm counting the ladies twice the Clark/Supes fight was marginal at best and the rest of the plot feels just...bleh..... That was the thing that kinda set me off to create that small "rant"...... then I forgot the critical mistake I made posting it in here and you little knuckleheads took off with it LOL |

Now now....
