A friend just texted me the news. I have no clue who she is. Just that she was in fast five. Time to do some googling.

Hard to see how this is still a true Superman sequel at this point. It's starting to get a bit crowded. Hopefully Wonder Woman is just a cameo role and ideally they give her her own movie later or even put her in another film. Is it just me or is WB throwing shit at the wall to see what will stick and going in like ten different directions? What's this mean for the CW Wonder Woman show? People were mad at the idea of two supermen at once. What about two Flashes, two Wonder Woman's, etc?

Well I like that she's exotic looking and she's fairly tall enough and young enough. She can work out and gain weight so that's not a problem. I like that she's lesser known but...I don't think she can act very well. Watched some clips and...meh. Suddenly Palickis WW isn't looking as bad. She didn't have this girls looks but she was a better actress and had that Amazonian height and wasn't nearly as stick thin. She had solid frame naturally and could be called Amazonian in stature.

Gonna be interesting to see how this all turns out because so far it's not exactly exciting me. It's really a big question mark right now though.

At this point, will the movie even bother with Lois Lane and Perry White? They can't be much more than walk-on roles with all these new characters.

Superman Returns never got a sequel. MOS improves slightly by only getting a spinoff. Superman will be a supporting character in his own movie. Laaaaame.

If they are basically in it from the start then that is utter wank. I don't want Superman getting a third of screen time shared out with others.

Hey, I just read about it. I suspect that Snyder will send her to Gold Gym in much the same way as he did with Antje Traue.

Heh. I have no problem with WB's casting decision for Affleck and Gadot as long as these are only supporting roles...really. I suspect that Gadot will be just Diana for the majority of the film.

The Dark Knight wasn't a cluserfuck with so many characters from Batman universe popping up and Goyer got story credit for this film. All I hope for is that MOS sequel to be much better than MOS in term of tighter story lines that also give some characters to breath and smoother editing. Snyder needs to learn fast (do not depend too much on Goyer), or he'll go nowhere fast.

See that's how I hope it is too. Otherwise they may as well call this Justice League. Just seems like WB is trying to squeeze the tit two times instead of one by making this JLA: the test run. They need to spread some of this out more. Cameos are ok but with the Nightwing talk it's getting absurd. It's like that rush job with Sinestro all over again.

Cavills Superman didn't get enough development as as it was. Seems like there might be less time devoted to him in the "sequel." Everyone was hoping 2 would be the movie to really flesh his Superman and Clark out.

Let's see...Goyers still sucking the nourishing balls of Nolan with gritty realism sustaining him so WW will probably just be a tough chick from a lost tribe of warrior women on an unknown island. AKA Xena lite. Lame.

They are gonna wreck the story too. But they don't care about that. I'm guessing they'll want JLA to launch most of the other solo franchises and pray for the JLA equivalent of the Avengers boost.

My understanding (I could be wrong) is that Goyer is now the point person and idea man for all things related to DC universe and there was a report about projects now having to get Goyer's approval. Where WB comes in is increasing revenue considering that they dropped the ball when they first purposed JL film but they shelved it only to see Marvels took the gamble with specular financial pay-off, and of course their ultimate fuck-up with Green Lantern.

MOS2 being a spring board for a JL film may not be a bad idea, but it could backfire.

You can't really call it MOS2 if Superman is a supporting character. And there's nothing WB can do right now to "stick it" to Marvel. All they can do is play catch-up.

Yeah I doubt Marvel is worried. If this is WBs way of sticking it to them it laughable. I'd bet now that Avengers 2 will make more than Batman vs superman in the long run. Somewhere Kevin Feige is kickin back smoking a cigar and having a laugh while counting his millions.

Yes. And that means hope is lost for a great DC cinematic universe. Goyer couldn't write a good grocery list without help. His same approach to every character simply isn't going to work. Captain Marvel shouldn't be handled like Nolan's Batman. Neither should Swamp Thing or Deadman.
