Your typical "Judo" tactics won't work for this argument. Nah, they work just fine. Like always. Just like your typical tripping over yourself to run into this thread any time someone says something positive about the film tactics. ;D

Funny how the people who defend the film also enjoyed the positive experiences during the trailers. Funny how the people who go out of their way to slam the film also experienced the negative experiences during the trailers.

Audiences in the theater I frequent were enthusiastic as heck for the trailer and especially for the film itself. One of the best theater experiences I ever had. Everybody applauded at all the right parts & came out smiling.
Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to exit the thread for awhile, as I hear fast footsteps & hardness of breath approaching ;D

Yup. White or Blue would have been fine.
Green sucks.

^THIS^
Thank You.
I've said this for YEARS.
Green was a RETARDED choice.
Every time I've ever watched it with a noob, they're always like "Isn't that supposed to hurt him?" Even as a kid I can remember my mom asking me why it wasn't killing him ;D
I always thought Blue should have been the obvious choice.

Steve Johnson sat down with Fearnet to talk about his wonderful 30 year career in the VFX industries. While talking with them he was asked about Tim Burton's Superman Lives project, and more specifically about the suit he was designing for the film.
"Don't start with me on that! I've had it with these things on-line saying 'this suit is probably why the movie didn't get made' and blah blah blah. What people don't understand is pretty straight forward," said Johnson. He went on to explain that the suit that people have seen photos and video of was not the actual suit for the film but was a suit they designed to regenerate Superman with the help of an alien. Said Johnson, "It was never meant to be the actual Superman suit. Superman dies, in Tim Burton's version. He's wrapped around by this alien presence which I would assume someone in the comics came up with. It's a living life form on top of him that brings him back to life. So everybody looked at the suit and said "Jesus, Tim's lost his mind! Steve's doing too much blow!" That wasn't what happened! It was never meant to be the Superman suit. It was an alien wrapped around him. Let's put that on the record for once. Colleen Atwood designed all the Superman suits. We had the real one; we had the black one from the ending. But the one people have seen wasn't meant to be the Superman suit, it was an alien that was regenerating him and it was really that simple. I don't know why all the fans were getting so angry about that. If they were real fans, they would know!"

Is somebody going to remove the 1990s looking "The OFFICIAL Message Board of Superman Cinema!" marquee? Yeah, & maybe at the same time I'll remove an instigating, negative for the sake of being negative, chronic poop-stirrer who has " PLEASE LOOK AT ME FOR frackS SAKE!" avatars & sig pics. Or maybe I'll just keep the marquee and the member. Yeah, I'll do that.

Superfan fan gets a call from Superman himself:
In addition to the 350 some gifts and letters that have been sent to Superman fan Mike Meyer in response to news reports about the theft of his comic book collection, the Granite City man recently got a call that meant more than some.
He picked up the phone last week to hear the voice of "Superman Returns" star Brandon Routh, a 31-year-old actor and former model originally from Norwalk, Iowa. The two talked about — what else — all things Superman for nearly half an hour.
They touched on the making of the "Superman Returns" movie, the theft of Meyer's collection (which was subsequently returned when police made an arrest in the case), Meyer's memorabilia collection, scenes from the 2006 movie — which Meyer said he has seen 14 times in movie theaters and many more times on DVD — and past actors who have played the role.
At one point Meyer told Routh that he sounded like the late Bud Collyer, who was the voice of Superman and Clark Kent on radio, film and television in the 1940s and again in the 1960s.
The conversation closed with Meyer telling Routh that it was "an honor and a privilege" to have spoken with him.
Meyer, 48, lives off of Social Security checks for a mental disability and his pay from a part-time job at McDonald's. He lives alone with his dogs Krypto and Dyno and spends a lot of his time on his lifelong passion — his Superman collection.
During the last week in August, Meyer was tricked out of more than 1,800 of his favorite Superman comic books. After news reports about the theft, comic book collectors spread the word online via message boards and email lists and the letters and gifts began pouring in for Meyer.

Dahaha. thats fracking brilliant MAV. i'll be saving that one thanks It doesnt really bother me, I just strongly disagree with some opinions on the film. I wont lie though, the fact one or two are outright discarding Zack Snyders film simply because Routh got the boot increases my urge to argue
