I don't think that line is cheesy at all.
It's subtle continuity at its best.
"I should get a sweater * Nah you'll be warm enough" STM
"I guess I should be freezing but I'm not" - SII
"I forgot how warm you are" - SR

Exactly.
Its about preserving it just the way it is.
Again, I love Bower's site, but it aint Superman Cinema. It aint home.

Wow, sad news indeed! I really hope someone makes a mirror site of it to preserve it just the way it is.As much as I like Caped Wonder's site, I'd much rather be able to look at the Superman Cinema site just as it has always appeared. Paul would make an excellent host for that sort of thing. Do you know how to do mirror sites Paul?

VERY cool!!!!!
Lionel, Lex, & Johnathan were the only great things in an otherwise mediocre show.
I daresay I liked Schneider better than Glen Ford. But, thats just because he had more to do, I suppose.

Shiiiiiiiiiiit, I'd TOTALLY deck out my man cave with that wallpaper. When I was a kid, we had some Super Hero Wallpaper, but it was Curt Swan art, so, all the Heroes were fat ;D ;D ;D

Showing that superior sculpt just made my decision for me.
I'm not going to buy it.
That's a kick in the nuts If I ever felt one.
The only hope is that he meant that the head has been re-sculpted & that he was showing us the new sculpt & his Engrish is so terrible (Like EVERYONE at Hot Toys ;D ) that it just came across wrong.
Feh.
I'm getting Keaton instead.

I've read it. It's 4 separate prequel stories. One about Jor-El One about Lex One About Lois One about Ma The one about Jor-El is REALLY cool to see because it is Brando in comic form. The one about Lex is good but has poopty art. They even throw in a giant Mechanical Spider Joke. It shows how Lex met Kitty & used her to get to Gertrude & also his relationship in prison with his goons. The one about Lois recaps great moments from the 1st 2 movies & shares Lois's thoughts about Superman's absence. It also shows her meeting Richard. The one about Ma is by far the best. Shows how she's been getting along & has lots of great flashbacks to moments of young Clark that we never saw in the 1st 2 films. A REALLY nice companion to the films. I LOVE comic Prequels. The one for Star Trek 09 is so great, that I cant imagine the movie without it's information.

A few months back, I ran into a guy I used to work with in the Postal Service, an acquaintance of mine who doesn't keep up with comic movie news, but does go to see them, asked me when they were gonna make the sequel to SR. Said he was interested to see where they go with the angle of his son. I ofcourse had to give him bad news ;D He was disappointed.

I thought of that too CAM but you know there will be cross posting. Mav would spend all day moving posts back and forth between threads. What about people like me, who LOVED the movie upon release, but over time have come to be profoundly irritated by significant chunks of it? Can we have our own thread too? Shogun & Val said it better than I could. Another one is, those who don't care about SR could just like stay out of this thread as much as possible. That one I cannot agree with. I say everyone is welcome in the thread. I do however question why some people only feel compelled to bash it only when certain people are expressing love for it. Or something like that. Ugh, lots of certains there ;D ;D ;D Anyway, everyone carry on loving & hating. And everyone feel free to quote anyone else's love or hate for the film whether it be from the real world or the net world. Neither makes you insecure. Neither means you are attempting to bolster. It just means you are expressing your pleasure that someone else sees things the way you do.

He'd be banned and kicked out of the secret forum. We've never had one of those here. We've no need for one. We're not that insecure.

Can you imagine the outcry from certain people if ATP decided to quote negative comments from the film on here over the last few months? Ahhhh, but ATP DOES make his own little SR comments basically every time he posts about ANYTHING. ;D The difference is, at least he's consistent, & at least its amusing. He doesn't only do it when responding to people he dislikes.
