I actually still have it in the loft somewhere. As the figure got older the leg fell off, the chest S paint faded and the black paint on his hair started coming off which showed white streaks through his hair, which made him look like an old supes. ;D Yeah I think the kryptonite ring was amazing. I loved pretending to be lex luthor and dishing out the kryptonite on him.

If we petition hard enough, do you think we can convince Warner Brothers to restart production on this version of Superman? I think, just maybe, we can.

From Supermanhomepage.com: "Steve Johnson is a special make-up effects artist who worked on the never-made Tim Burton "Superman Lives" film in the late-1990s. He recently started his own YouTube channel showcasing a "treasure chest" of archival footage showing many of the films he has worked on over a 30 year career. At the end of his introductory film clip ( www.youtube.com/watch?v=aRRMMmWnevo) there's a very brief snippet of a Superman "S" chest symbol lighting up. Unfortunately, due to Warner Bros. restrictions, Steve is unable to release the archival footage from the "Superman Lives" project in his collection:

I'm there in the photo album and see all the squares where the pics should be but nothing is showing up. I dunno if it's my internet connection or what.. it's working on everything else I do.

Finally.. my internet connection is messed up right now. Those pics are weird. I don't know what to say about them, I'll have to look them over better later.
Thanks Legsy and Jimbo.

WOW!!! I would love to see the meeting where they decided rape the innards of the character. I imagine something like this:
Hollywood exec 1-"hey lets do a superman movie and give it to tim burton, he's made for hollywood hits!"
Tim Burton- " yes but my take will fundamentally change everything about the character"
Hollywood exec 2- "where'd you come from?"
Tim Burton- "I was lurking within the floor boards, but that is irrelevant. We should take everything iconic about the character, and ill eat it. Itll funnel through my dark mind and freaky hair do, and i will digest it. What i shit out will be the next superman movie"
Hollywood exec 1- "what do you have in mind"
Tim Burton- "well, Johnny depp will star in every roll other than superman. And yes I am including lois lane"
Hollywood exec 2-"YEAH..."
Tim Burton-"Next, of course, we take all of the color out, like i do in every movie. Red? Blue? American colors? Iconicity? Pish Posh. Im tim burton, therefore, this will be a success no matter how badly i shit on the creative talent that came before me. His suit will be black, silver and the Emblem will in no way resemble the iconic look.
Hollywood exec 1- "YEAH!!!"
Random sane person-"WTF?!?!??!?!??!?!"
Tim Burton- "Then we'll make the guy, who's supposed to be INCREDIBLY handsome, look freakishly odd to externalize his hidden anguish.... who's hideous enough to pull that off? NICHOLAS CAGE WILL PLAY SUPERMAN!"
Hollywood exec 1- "He'd single handedly completely shit on this film... keep going with ideas on how to fist fuck superman some more"
Tim Burton- "Well, his body will not be in any kind of shape... it'll just be the suit. Oh and the suit will glow up like a plasma lamp!"
Hollywood exec 2- "wow, you really are made for hollywood!"
Hollywood exec 1- "you have any ideas about a hulk movie?"
Tim Burton-"off the top of my head... I'd make hulk fight a hulked out poodle"

Was Superman supposed to look naked in those muscle costumes? That would be a great image of a naked Superman flying around. I can't believe they even invested money in making that crap!

I understand why you guys hate this stuff, but eh I actually like some of it ;D
Looks like Burton could have made an awesome looking green lantern film in the late 90's.
I wonder if Superman Lives would have been a box office hit or not?

Those pics of the costume reminds me of Blue Superman. To be quite honest, I would trade Burton's Planet of the Apes and Superman Returns for Superman Lives. If it would have sucked, Warners would have just had it rebooted by 2012. Hmm... sounds familiar.
