I was just thinking that. They really SHOULD release another trailer, this one showcasing the action of the movie, to get people pumped for it.

I'm divided on that added bit. On one hand, it was a nice sliver to show a LITTLE bit of Ma Kent's personality--- that you got the sense that she was going to be alright once Clark left.
On the other hand, yeah, Thau's RDC cut showed he was NOT the right guy to carry Baird's mantle for editing.... especialliy for a situation that was as delicate as was SII, with missing footage/whatnot.
I could have forgiven a lot else, but the result should not have been less than the IRC cut.

I hear you--- I don't think it's for the average audience, though- I assume (1) it's contractual--- and (2) the people (again, I assume) who do check them up are maybe other industry folks who actually might want to use the services rather than look them up on imdb.
Don't get me wrong- I'd love for the extra 10 minutes to be used for more movie stuff, but I'm mainly taking a guess as to why these seem to be there for the big productions. A credit could be worth as much as cash perhaps for those folks up there. (What better proof?)

Yeah, I don't care for those type of ad campaigns, too--- but it makes a certain amount of sense money-wise if those phone companies or fast food companies share part of the money burden. Unfotunately, I think those type of ads are pretty much here to stay for awhile.

Hi guys Just watched Trouble With The Curve starring Amy Adams, Clint Eastwood, Justin Timberlake, T1000 (Robert Patrick), John Goodman and some other good actors. Man...Amy is so good in this! She really has a great likable personality, she looks and acts really good too. I can see why she was chosen for Louis, she can play this troubled stubborn lady perfectly. And you really get to like her character, she is really sweet and charming So watch that movie if you have not seen it yet, it's highly recommended! And then I found this on YouTube, are there any soundtrack fans in here? Can you tell if this is the real deal or some earlier Hans Zimmer work? I have not heard this before and I know some of his past work. Could be legit? I don't know It says Man Of Steel Official Demo Soundtrack by Hans Zimmer, check it out: If real could be considered SPOILER material so now you are warned, enjoy: youtu.be/WODPtFoTr3QCheers *** Update, I wrote the Man Of Steel Unofficial fan page on FB, according to them it's fake ***

Don't know where this came from... Not hugely impressed with the music if this really is Man of Steel or even a demo but perhaps it's a fake and comes from an old Zimmer movie or another composer?
Sounds like a mix of Amazing Spider-Man and Dark Knight.

Sounds like a mix of Amazing Spider-Man and Dark Knight. I agree. I sincerely hope that this was a fake, because it was pretty crap. Generic filler music with nothing memorable at all. If it can't be whistled or hummed and be instantly recognisable, then it has no place being a Superman theme. The MoS theme/score had better be AT LEAST as good as The Rock. If not, it can fuck right off, and I'll watch a fan edit with the Williams music dubbed in.

Nice call, Bizarro.
If anyone gets a solid lead on the score though, please let me know. Dying to hear it.

It's April. Surely the score is done, so it would seem likely.

I thought they said bout a month ago that the score was finished for the film.
I'm sure we'll hear some of it in the next trailer and the footage that is going to be shown at one of the comic cons this month. Can't remember which one it is though.

Apparently a 3 minute trailer will be coming soon, showcasing a lot more of Cavill's acting.
One of his lines, supposedly, is, "It's not an S. Where I can come, it's a symbol of hope."

www.cnn.com/2013/04/05/showbiz/zimmer-man-of-steel/index.html?hpt=hp_bn9"Sonically, this treatment of America comes across via a grouping of pedal steel guitars (instead of the usual string section), banging titanium and steel sculptures, and organizing "a who's who of drummers" in a 12-member drum circle, including Jason Bonham, Sheila E. and Pharrell Williams." So that's our Man of Steel score. Hope you're fuckin' happy.

Tonally, the music in the trailers has, so far, been right on point, and it's been different than anything we've had for Superman before. Snyder and Nolan have both proven they can do something interesting with the score that's never been done before yet for the character--and Zimmer's hands are more than capable!
This sounds new and awesome and different and alien, and I'm sure it'll be good--the man knows how to deliver.
The following quotes from the article prove he "gets it." He gets the sense of wonder, the joy, the majesty, the magic, and most importantly, the lack of "darkness."
If anything, this makes me even MORE excited:
