For me, it was the "Journey to the Line" music that made all the difference. That trailer got me in to that soundtrack so much that I've got it on a CD for my car. Listen to it regularly. Whenever Man of Steel comes out on DVD I hope they include that comic-con trailer just for that. I also got the soundtrack after hearing it in the trailer! I was recently in Africa and did a 20-mile hike along the coast in the early morning. I made sure to play the soundtrack n my MP3 player during the walk.

These are exciting times alright being on the cusp of a new Superman film, a new take on the lore, a new torch bearer and all that. This is released the same day as my Maths exam. It fucking would be wouldn't it!! All the years I put it off, I decide to do it and then MoS happens. The night before I should be revising and buckling down. That's not gonna happen, you know it and I know it. Am gonna be climbing the walls, too excited. How on earth am I supposed to do an exam when I know in a few hours I'll be sat watching Superman. A NEW Superman film. Fuck!
Even non-believers are looking forward to it. Friends of mine who ''don't give a shit'' about Superman are really looking forward to it.
I want to keep spoiler free, I don't want to know jack! No more trailers or spots. This is gonna be hard. I may have to walk around blind folded for the next nine weeks.

Brilliant ATP. Yeah its great for driving too.
Yeah Kev, 9 Fridays, saw someone saw that this morning and thought "fuck, that will be over in a flash"
Anyone ever seen this interview before? Cavill promoting the Immortals, must have been about the same time making MOS. He really did put on the beef for MOS

That "Journey to the Line" music reminds me a lot of Vangelis. Particularly the Blade Runner end credits music as well as "Heaven and heck."
Have you heard either of them? (please?)

I don't know if I read it hear or another forum, but didn't someone say the trailer was coming online tuesday? Isn't it attached to Oblivion?
Edit. Never mind. Read it on supermanhomepage
According to various Film Classification boards in the UK and Canada, we believe that the next "Man of Steel" trailer will run 3 minutes and 8 seconds long. Classified today (April 11, 2013), the trailer is said to contain scenes "that may cause a child brief anxiety or fear", with "restrained portrayals of non-graphic violence".
Update: Reports are that the new "Man of Steel" trailer is in front of "Oblivion" and will also be released online this Tuesday, April 16th.

Wow. When you put it like that, that's NOTHING. God, this is so fucking exciting. A BRAND NEW Superman movie that we basically no nothing about that's starting it ALL OVER. No Donner. No Williams. NOTHING. It's going to be such an interesting experience for us all, I feel. Exactly how I feel! Too excited for the new take.

do movies always get released later in australia than other countries?
i am from south africa originally, and for some weird reason, movies often get released there ahead of even the usa. i remember superman 2 came out in sa before most other countries.

It's not really static - it has a musical note to it - could it be a little taste of Zimmer's theme tune? Or perhaps Zod's theme?

I right clicked it and i clicked on View Video.. on Firefox, and it's a 5 second video, smaller so the static isn't all pixelated like it is, and it's definitely Zod's logo..
Zod is coming!

Read a speculation that the online countdown trailer release will dovetail with cavil appearing on the mtv movie awards. That would be a high profile way to go I guess.

Is this the longest thread ever in the website's history? 346 pages!
How long was the SR thread?
