Its actually hard to type right now with hands shaking.
That shot of him coming out of the fortress silhouetted by the light is one of the most gorgeous shots I've ever seen.
So Zod does go ape shit! And Cavill? Holy fucking shit. He is Superman, the last bit was priceless!!

It's awesome Zimmer clearly references "Thus Spoke Zarathustra." (You know, the 2001: A Space Odyssey theme).
Not only because it's about the ubermensch, or Superman, but John Williams ALSO referenced it in HIS Superman theme... but he reversed it.

What about Krypton? Wow. Don't think Crowe is phoning it in either!! One of the best moments in that was Costner and young clark when he said 'you are my son'.
But fucking heck, it was epic. Looks like Superman man handles Zod anyway!

I'm convinced we will have the superman movie,we have all craved for.just from a few bits of dialogue,Russell Crowe IS jor-el,Michael Shannon IS general zod and my god Henry cavill certainly IS superman!!.everything about this trailer was awesome.i just hope that there is some really nice majestic flying shots without cgi

The last minute of that trailer had more action and superhero stuff than the entire running time of Superman Returns.
This is movie we have been waiting for since the mid 90's, all out balls to wall Superman! I'm so fucking excited guys, seriously pumped. Probably more excited about this movie than anything else this summer.
The over saturation of Marvel films is making me yawn, even though Iron Man 3 looks great, I just can't myself pumped for it. This one has me ready to go!

I can't believe it. I cannot believe it.
Can we CONFIRM that's new, original Zimmer music? Because if so, I'm already sold on it.
And, not for nothing, but there are still plenty of little callbacks to the Donner flicks.
One interesting point: I didn't see Krypton explode. Did you? hmmmm...Abrams....hmmmm...

As I've said many times, the Abrams script reads very well when you put the nerd rage away. And were you to SEE some of that on-screen, well...it'd probably quiet you down right quick.
I'm not saying that's gonna happen, but let's see: Civil War on Krypton? Check. Kryptonian bad guy looking to find Kal-El for a reason that's probably something other than straight-up revenge? Check...

My only complaint is the tint... the whole thing looked really... brown? Disappointed Krypton kinda looks like Geonosis.
Small potatoes, though.
It's going to take me a while to adjust to HOW alien the Krypton stuff is. I mean, it looks REALLY alien. Almost like gross biotech alien.

Oh yeah, I agree... If I was going to tear it apart it would defiantly be a big issue with me... The colors that is.
But, it seems to have the same dank color pallet that every other film being made today has... So I kinda give up in that area.

Overall I think it looks pretty good. Won't know anything really until I see the movie. If anything, I believe we'll finally get the action that the Superman character always deserved in a movie. The technology wasn't available with the Reeve films and they pretty much avoided action with Superman Returns. I liked the bit with Lois and Superman at the end. The chemistry seems to be there. It wasn't with Routh & Bosworth.
