Gawd, this stuff rocks my face off. I saved a lot of this stuff before, but I'm seeing images here that aren't familiar, so I'll need to save them when I get home. (Nobody better have hotlinked these! If I see red Xs of doom heads are gonna roll! ;D)

It took 30 years for us to see the SII Donner Cut.
With any luck, we'll be collecting on our 401K's by the time SR Uncut is released. It will be our sons and grandsons fighting that fight, boys and girls.

I look forward to the day when a Superman movie can be made without any problems in either production or reception.

Margot Kidder's Humpty Dumpty analogy looks more and more relevant to the Superman movie saga. Since Donner left, nobody has been able to put Humpty Dumpty together again.

To think...all the time invested in conceiving the creating this sequence, and it ends up not only being left out of the film, but not being available to the public in any form! It's ridiculous. It'd be like the podrace being deleted from Episode I, and never being featured in the film, on the DVD, or in any of the deleted scenes.

Ha, the more I think about it, the funnier the coincidence is. I can't believe in this day and age that Superman fans are going through the EXACT same wonder regarding SR deleted scenes as we were going through with SII just a couple of years ago. Wait till they come out. I wonder who is going to hate them.
That picture IS awe-inspiring. Just like Ralph McQuarrie's OT Star Wars paintings, filled with wonder, awe, mystery and majesty. That will only increase expectations...

So the above picture would have been from what scene? Would it have been a sequence showing the creation of the ship that Superman/The Fortress built for his journey back to Krypton?
Im confused... Fantastic art though.

And does Superman design and create it? Or does the fortress just auto do it as per Superman's command?
SR should and could have been a whole lot more. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy the film, but Im starting to feel a bit jipped here :/

It's like all the cool conceptual stuff was scrapped. Give me a 3 1/2 hour cut, I don't care! Let's see it all!
Ya know, Singer already F-ed us when he promised an extended cut of X-Men, and never delivered. Sigh.
