I got a new 1/6 scale left hand today and decided to recreate one of my favourite Superman shots.

Very cool Booshman! I love that you put the original image side-by-side.... I knew the figure was amazing--- but in looking at this image, I'm even more impressed at just how close all the proportions are in his costume/body. Wow. Wonder if Hot Toys will ever release news on whether or not they're going to commit to doing other SII figures? I assumed that this figure was going to do monster-size business, but with no announcements of HT doing more figures, I'm wondering if the sales weren't what they expected....

wow- so RARE to have a Jor-El action figure....
mego did a 12'' articulated and a "pocket hero" version.
S:TAS had a (sort of) version of Jor, it was actually Kal wearing kryptonian robes.
for SR, there was a two-pack with Jor and Kal.
and hot toys of course.
ZOD is even rarer- a 12 mego, and the terence stamp hot toys if i'm not mistaken were all that ever got made.

Don't know why they gave that figure a body, a head in a box would have been more accurate. I wish Hot Toys would do a Stamp Zod, I think you're thinking of the Mattel version that's the same scale, but looks nowhere near as good as it would if Hot Toys had done it.

I don't know whatever happened to them, but I would have loved for McFarlane toys to have done ANY of the Superman movie figures....

I heart my two McFarlane figures: Snake and McClane.

Here's a bigger version of that one Superman toy.. posted in Man of Steel thread. There's a little S curl in his hair. But the colors on this look great. I'll be picking this up. One to keep in the box and one to take out. I'll prolly replace the cape with a fabric one. So tired of plastic capes.

I'd buy a toy of the Morrison Superman, but I can't being myself to spend $100 or more on a "statue." Still, that's a cool one.

Cool images! Thanks for putting these up!
So curious how this medieval design plays out in the movie. I have to admit, that it would have been EXTRA cool (imo) for them to go 'retro' like Abrams' look with Star Trek--- ((and have the headbands and the green shirt for Jor-el like the Curt Swan retelling of the origin, etc. etc.))- but find a way for it to look like an advanced society at the same time..... still, it IS a fresh expensive movie look for Krypton that we haven't had since the Donner days, so there's definitely applause for that.
It is, however, odd to see Jor-el- a man of science, carrying a gun, though. I think it's a first.

Jor-El looks downright Arthurian.
Love it.

Well, the 'new 52' version of Superman to me feels like it's an Elsewhere's concept, too, so why not? (Not to mention MOS's new visual alterations of Supes/Krypton....)

I can't wait for the Injustice game, but I'm not to crazy on all the costume changes for just about all the characters.. they put too much detail in there, like Flash's costume.. it's just too much, too armor like. But with that being said, like I said, I really can't wait to play it.
I'm just ready to see a bunch of MOS merch, and start buying some.

Dumb question, but can you not just get them copied and then put the copies onto T Shirts?

I honestly don't know. You'd have to find the same type of transfer material to print on, plus all the glitter.

i'd leave 'em as is.
