I wasn't a big fan of the shaky-cam and all the zooming. I hope this means we get something more cinematic. I love the camera work in Snyder's other films.

Larry Fong has come on as the director of Photography for MOS2 replacing Amir from MOS. Sounds like we won't be getting as much shaky cam in the sequel.. Dunno if this is good news or not... I'm seeing a lot of positive reaction to this elsewhere as well. |

Fong did Super 8, but that was directed by JJ Abrams.
Fong also did 300, Watchmen and Sucker Punch.. And we know who directed those.

A shame he couldnt get whoever worked on Dawn of the Dead. Had few of Syders usual gimmicks. Hopefully this doesn't mean more speed ramping and desaturated colors. Colors not going to kill the box office take, Zack. Sometimes it's your friend.

I thought the camerawork for 300 and Watchmen were beautiful. Highly stylized, but I was fine with that (I had other issues with Watchmen, but the visuals weren't part of that).
If he goes back to that visual style for MOS 2 I'm totally fine with it, too. (No more superspeed blurs for Superman, please. I can do that on my home computer with Aftereffects.)

You know what just occurred to me?
I wonder if Snyder would be better with MOS 2 since he seems to do better with tough guys.
King Leonidas and Rorschach were some of the better executed characters in a Snyder film.
(I still have big concerns about Superman execution though.)
