I'd go everything or nothing on Legion. If they don't connect it then don't even mention the word mutant. Enterprise season 4 was one of the best turn arounds I've ever seen a show do. Was actually dissapointed to see if cancelled. It's what they show should have been in the first place. Agents of shield is currently in a similar situation creativly speaking. Most of Enterprise season 3 is pretty good, too--- again, I notice it happened mostly with Manny Coto in charge. Such a pity that they didn't get one more season. They were really on a roll.... I loathe the final episode of Enterprise. Bragga just couldn't help himself and took it from Coto. The two parter before that with Peter Weller was brilliant. Part of me wishes that was the last episode even though it was more open ended.

It's sad that so many undeserving shows last too long, and Enterprise was shorted one just when it was firing on all cylinders. Oh well.... at least we got some pretty awesome TNG and DS9 episodes (and a few Voyager ones) out of the Star Trek 'boom'. Will be interesting to see how the new Trek series fares...

I wish it was syndicated since Trek had its greatest sucess in syndication but the days of first run syndicated shows seem to be dead. I even wish it was on cable. The show would have a tougher time on the CW or CBS. I think putting it on their streaming service is a mistake.
I do have faith in the quality of the show but it seems like they're behind schedule. It's been pushed back because they knew they couldn't make that original airdate.

Lol at Cavill being left behind. I like the Superman TAS touches. Wish they'd done that with the Batman one.

The hairstyles and suit colors given it away. The artist listed who was who from left to right: George Reeves, Christopher Reeve, Tom Welling, Brandon Routh, Dean Cain, Henry Cavill.
I had a harder time with some of the Batmen but the poses are taken from scenes in the movies so that helped. Top three: Clooney, Affleck, Kilmer. Bottom three: Bale, West, Keaton

That was fun... but hoping someone out there does even more with a Reeve/Keaton fan crossover.

You mean like a fan short? I'd love a stop motion or animated project from someone.
Speaking of which

Pretty neat.... though it's a pity that whenever MOS comes up, it's so dark that it's a little depressing (though the same could be said of Smallville) and dampen the lightness of the other versions.
Definitely a lot of work put into it, though.

Yeah I had the same issue. The DCeu films have the opposite problem of the MCU films but to the same ends. The marvel movies are flat and generic looking. Almost bland and samey to fit together. The DC films aren't overly stylized and processed with filters and desaturated colors to fit together . Theyre just hard to take seriously as deep or human when so much of the personal touch has been drained out of them on a computer and they look so artificial and assembly line produced.

I HATE the desaturated look. It doesn't only look phony, it's just unpleasant to the eyes. The Marvel movies challenge I think is to actually go a bit deeper if they can, without sacrificing the fun. They've succeeded tremendously in introducing basically the whole universe to the public- but it's going to be interesting with all their tools at their disposal if they can deliver films that are so memorable from start to finish that don't rely on connectivity- that it gains status similar to "Emprie Strikes Back". I don't think that there's been one film that has quite had that yet. There's been a lot of really good films in the MCU, and some with greater parts than the whole- but right now the MCU kind of feels like a really big, good television show. With characters supposedly dying in Infinity War, maybe the Infinity War is the one that gains ESB status.

To be honest I don't think ANY comic book movie has reached that level of pop culture success and influence. Not STM or even The Dark Knight or even so called classics like Spider-man 2 or X2. With the way movies in general and superhero movies specifically are made now I don't think we will ever see a movie like that. Nothing's really that impressive anymore and while superhero movies are more faithful to the source material than ever they are also more formulaic and important to their corporate masters.
They aren't going to let great filmmakers do what they need to do to create something truly magical. Especially in this age of franchises and shared universes. But again that's true for most genre movies now. When was the last time we saw something like BTTF or ET or even T2 or The Matrix cause that kind of seismic shift with the industry and the audiences?

Agreed. Though- part of that thrill used to be a shared experience on the screen and people talking about it. Nowadays, there's SO many different forms of entertainment to stimulate all the senses (3d, VR, videogames) plus the dvd player and the internet that there's a surplus of different types of films with top notch fx/etc. that people might buzz about at different times. Really hard to know how STM might have played now. Being the first on the block and executed well made it standout- but you're right, it didn't achieve Star Wars status. If Donner had stayed, I wonder if it would have grown there, though....

The Flash vs The Flash
I wish they'd have actually done this on the CW show. Shipp is a recurring guest star and we know the CBS show exists in the Berlanti multiverse.

I agree--- Since it's relatively easy for them to do this, I'm suprised that that they haven't done something like this already. But, having Shipp on the show as recurring and as Jay Garrick is also pretty cool.
