Column A/Column B.
I thought the book was crap, so why would I sit through the movie? I think the author is a douche, so why should I put money in his pocket?
Either one would probably be enough to keep me out of the theater, but mostly, the fact that I hate the book is enough.

Apparently the upcoming Scott Snyder/Jim Lee Superman book has a new title: Superman Unchained.
Meh.
I don't get the obsession with Superman Un______ titles these days. Man of Steel (the rumored title) was perfect! Not only would it tie-in with the new movie's title, it'd be a resurrection of sorts for the old book by the same name that got cancelled in the early 2000s.

I liked the "Superman/Batman" series from about 10 years ago. It produced a damn good Supergirl, a version that was finally Kara Zor-El and not some pretender. I got the first 30 or so issues before I stopped for financial reasons. I might try the new version. I might try the new non-continuity "Adventures of Superman." And I'm still reading "Smallville" each week, it's not bad. Kara is coming back, in costume, for a story line later this year. The costume she has looks pretty good. Instead of a cape, she'll have a long coat/dress, mixed with a few New 52 elements. Makes sense, considering this universe's Superman costume has a few New 52 elements, like the black S on the cape and no red trunks. www.supermanhomepage.com/images/solicitation-artwork/June-2013/SMVLS11_Cv14.jpg

That was only a matter of time before they made comics about it. They already have the dc vs he-man two pack figures that have been out for a few years now.
Still Sounds terrible.
